the location was fantastic. i appreciated the on-site parking, a real convenience. the staff were helpful and cute. the wifi access was also good, a great touch.
the room needed some decoration. it felt a little dated.

The front desk staff were helpful. I also appreciated the traditional decor and ornate details around the hotel. The room had clean towels and tea and coffee, all great additions. I also found a useful iron in the room.
The window in my ground floor room did not lock securely. It definitely left me feeling uneasy about security.

The dining was easy due to the hotel's detached restaurant. There was a bar with good food and drinks, and it was clean. A traditional lift added to the hotel's charm. It preserved a piece of history.
